It’s no secret that home fragrances are becoming more desirable for home owners, apartment dwellers and for those who want to add a unique scent to the place they call home. I love a good home fragrance because it covers up all of the unexpected odors that usually hit you when you walk in the door, after you’ve cooked your favourite meal which never smells half as good after a few days or you want to set a particular theme throughout the rooms in the house. Fresh linen scents in the guest bedroom, soothing mint in the kitchen, etc., etc.
Antica Farmacista, the creator of luxury home fragrances, sent me a few products from their line to test out in my home which I thought was pretty cool. I usually don’t have a scent for each room because strong fragrances give me a headache but I would consider their products of over 20 fragrances, extending into bath and body products, candles, personal perfume, bubble bath and bath salts. After reviewing their offerings, I noticed that their products are not overly priced otherwise I would not suggest trying these for yourself with minimal financial risk!

Hand wash & moisturizer
Lavata Di Corpo hand wash ($25)
The Antica Farmacista hand wash includes natural ingredients to target dry skin to avoid stripping your hands of essential oils. This formula contains silk amino acids, chamomile, honey and sweet almond oil. The rich lather is silky and creates the perfect foam for clean and moisturized hands.
Le Emulsioni Corpo Vellutanti body moisturizer ($25)
This body lotion includes natural moisturizing ingredients such as aloe vera, apricot kernel oil, green tea and fruit extracts, sweet almond oil, silk amino acids and proteins, shea butter (a must have!) and honey for superior hydration and moisture. And it leaves your skin feeling Beyonce flawless and radiant….ooh la, la.
Fragrance: Ala Moana (Romantic)
Thinking about those lush humid nights on the islands of the tropics? This scent may be for you! This signature scent, meaning “path to the sea” is a beautiful heady floral. Night blooming jasmine, plumeria, tuberose and gardenia create an intoxicating floral blend. Refreshing lush green notes add a crisp clean infusion to this luscious scent.
Diffuser
Le Fragranze D’ Ambiante reed diffuser ($26)
Reed diffusers are perfect for setting the tone of your room to eliminate any unwanted (or surprising!) odors as I mentioned before. You can opt to place the reed bundle into the bottle neck and reverse the reeds every few days or as desired to enhance the scent.
Fragrance: Orange Blossom, Lilac & Jasmine
Love fruity scents? This is the perfect home fragrance combo. This bright fragrance gives off citrus notes of mandarin and Sicilian lemon blending beautifully with floral notes of orange blossoms, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley.
Body Butter
Burro Corpo Body Butter ($38)
The body butter feels so good! It has top notes of Satsuma citrus balance with subtle floral notes. It kinda reminds me of an apricot and passion fruit mixed together for a sweet aroma to the nostrils.
Fragrance: Prosecco (Classic)
Shea butter, argan oil and honey combine to create a silky-soft body butter, perfect for moisturizing even the driest skin. Enhanced with natural ingredients, this luxurious formula will leave you feeling hydrated.
