Chilean Miners and Chic Knits

I luvvv this sweater! It came all the way from Chile when my cousin helped rescue the miners who were trapped half way around the world. I luv the white and grey reindeer gradient around the chest, bell sleeves, and pocket trim. There aren’t any labels in the sweater so I’m not sure what the brand is.

So here’s the background story of how I received the sweater as a gift. My cousin drills in Alberta (yes we Jamaicans survive…even in the harsh winters of Alberta!) so because of their drilling expertise, he and his team were flown to Chile to help with the rescue mission. Here’s a picture of the team.

Here, the crew poses with the Fenix 2- the rescue capsule that saved the 33 miners. My cousin is the second one in from the left.

So proud of my cousin! Love You! Go Canada!
