Madonna, Freida Pinto, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Ann Wintour, and many others are hitting the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit red carpet right now (!!!), otherwise known as the Met Ball. Forget the Oscars, forget Fashion week (ok just for a minute) because this is the most fashionable night of thee entire year. This year’s celebratory occasion hosts the exhibit known as “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” displaying the collection works of the late designer who tragically took his life at the age of 40 in 2010. I would love for a designer to be my fairy godmother and lace me up in a dress, just so that I could be on the red carpet for this very special night. And I pinky swear that I would be back by midnight. Promise.
